On Friday, September 9, as the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival weekend gets into full swing, Peoples Bank Theatre will host an open house. Stop by the theatre and enjoy free popcorn, a slideshow on the big screen showcasing the theatre’s restoration, discounted prices on Spotlight Series tickets, drinks and concessions. The open house coincides with the Ohio History Connection’s “Ohio Open Doors” series, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act with tours and talks at historic sites and buildings across the state.
