Mr. Hagen created 3 tenor roles in the world premier of The Lost Dauphane for Pamiro Opera airing on PBS. He has performed a vast array of operatic roles ranging from Alfredo in La Traviata\, to the title role of Otello for Cleveland Opera on tour. Mr. Hagen is highly regarded for his performances of the Verdi Requiem and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9\, having performed these works with more than a dozen symphonies across the United States. He has received many awards throughout his career including finalist in the New Jersey Opera Association of Verismo Opera competition held at Carnegie Hall\, Metropolitan Opera Auditions Regional Finalist\, and winner of numerous other competitions. John has taught voice and vocal pedagogy at Wartburg College and at his alma mater\, the University of Northern Iowa. \nMARCUS COLLINS\nMarcus was born in a small town and began performing at the age of 4. He first learned how to sing by emulating his favorite artists like Garth Brooks\, George Michael and Freddie Mercury before training classically in college. Marcus has performed throughout the world on cruise ships and numerous stage productions including a performance in Times Square with the Broadway cast of Hairspray\, Off-Broadway’s Altar Boyz as Matthew\, and Permission: A Rock Musical. He also starred in multiple productions of The Sound of Music in the roles of Kurt\, Rolf and Uncle Max. Beyond music he has worked extensively as an actor with appearances in more than 100 episodes of network television and 25 films including P.S. I Love You\, Semi-Pro\, Delirious\, 30 Rock\, Sex and the City\, recurring roles on One Life To Live and As The World Turns\, and a Guest VJ on MTV’s TRL. One of his favorite roles was appearing as Edward Carnby in the video game Alone in the Dark for Eden Games in 2008. \nJC FISHER\nJC has entertained audiences around the world for the past 15 years. In high school\, he had a passion for sports and also enjoyed singing in church. He discovered a deeper love for singing at Wichita State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music. JC performed various roles including Rodolfo in La Boheme\, Tamino in The Magic Flute\, Ernesto in Don Pasquale\, Henrick in A Little Night Music and even Miss America’s duet partner at the 1997 Miss Kansas Pageant.         After college\, JC traveled to Lucca\, Italy where he sang in the Puccini festival under the direction of acclaimed Italian maestro Lorenzo Malfatti. He then created a home base in Katy\, TX before sailing the high seas aboard more than 75 cruise ships worldwide as a guest entertainer. This allowed JC to create a show featuring many different genres of music and world class arrangements\, which eventually led to his idea of forming The Texas Tenors. After many years of traveling and concerts\, his most memorable performance is still one from college where he found his future wife. Jennifer Vannatta\, Miss Kansas 1998\, married JC in 2004 and they have three children. \n \nSpecial Guest: Anthony Mossburg\nSix years. Four original albums. Thousands of shows around the country. \nThree years after picking up a guitar in a college dorm room\, Anthony Mossburg left the stability of a full-time job to chase after the only thing that made him feel alive; music. \nWhat followed over the next four years was a series of accolades\, achievements\, risks\, near-misses\, and setbacks that indefinitely shaped him as an artist and a person. DESCRIPTION:Featuring Bo Bice\nIt’s been five decades since drummer/producer Bobby Colomby and friends assembled the first group to successfully blend rock and jazz into a genre-crossing sound and style. So successfully in fact\, that the band’s second album\, Blood\, Sweat & Tears\, topped the Billboard charts for many weeks and beat out the Beatles’ Abbey Road for the prestigious Album of the Year Grammy award. That album produced three major hit singles: “You Made me so Very Happy\,” “Spinning Wheel\,” and “And When I Die.” \nBut now Colomby is looking for much more as he develops Blood Sweat & Tears into a contemporary voice\, one that reaches beyond a single\, nostalgic audience. \n \n“I no longer want to target just one generation. DESCRIPTION:The year 2015 marked the 45th Anniversary of perennial classic-rock favorite\, America. Founding members\, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (along with former band mate Dan Peek) met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly harmonized their way to the top of the charts on the strength of their signature song “A Horse With No Name”. America became a global household name and paved the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first #1 single.  Forty plus years later\, these friends are still making music together\, touring the world and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound. \n \nAmerica’s journey has found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain.  Their best-known tunes\, which also include “I Need You\,” “Ventura Highway\,” “Don’t Cross The River\,” “Tin Man\,” “Lonely People\,” and “Sister Golden Hair” were cornerstones of 1970’s Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits\, listeners would discover there was always much more to America than surface perceptions. The combination of Gerry Beckley’s melodic pop rock and Dewey Bunnell’s use of folk-jazz elements\, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with Dan Peek’s more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics. \nAmerica’s albums–six certified gold and/or platinum\, with their first greatest hits collection\, History\, hitting four plus million in sales–displayed a fuller range of the trio’s talents than did their singles. Their material encompassed an ambitious artistic swath; from effects-laden rockers to oddball medleys to soul-bearing ballads\, America displayed a flawless blend of disparate genres and styles as wide-open as the great American plains. \nEnjoying massive success early in their career\, America earned their stripes as musical soldiers on the battlefield amidst the excess\, craziness and chaos of the 70’s. The trio won the Grammy® for Best New Artist in 1972 and began\nworking with George Martin and Geoff Emerick in 1974.  This successful team\nwent on to record seven albums and several Top Ten hits\, including “Tin Man” and “Sister Golden Hair”. \nBy the mid-70s\, inter-band conflicts combined with an exhaustive touring and recording schedule exacted its toll on the group. With Peek’s departure from the fold in 1977\, Gerry Beckley & Dewey Bunnell rose to the challenge and carried on as a duo. Shifts in sound and direction\, changes in producers and managers\, and a renewed dedication to the craft of songwriting helped rocket America to the upper reaches of the pop charts in 1982 with their smash single\, “You Can Do Magic.”  During this tumultuous time in their career\, Beckley and Bunnell immersed themselves in their craft\, infusing a newfound maturity into their rich body of work. Their growth as singers\, songwriters and musicians has continued into the present day as illustrated by landmark releases such as 2000’s Highway 3-disc box set\, 2002’s Holiday Harmony\, an album comprised of seasonal classics and live showcases\, 2007’s Here & Now\, 2009’s Live In Concert: Wildwood Springs and 2011’s Back Pages.

DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of Aurora Held-Dodd\, the Theatre Department at Marietta College will perform Annie: The Musical on the stage of Peoples Bank Theatre. Annie is a Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie\, with music by Charles Strouse\, lyrics by Martin Charnin\, and book by Thomas Meehan. This family-friendly 1977 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical is based on Harold Gray’s popular comic strip “Little Orphan Annie\,” which he started in the 1920s.  Little orphan Annie is taken from her orphanage\, and the clutches of evil Miss Hannigan\, to stay at billionaire Oliver Warbuck’s mansion for the holidays. When Annie wins the hearts of Warbucks and his staff\, they set out on an epic mission to find Annie’s parents. Meanwhile\, Miss Hannigan\, in partnership with her brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily\, attempt to make some money out of this unique situation. The stories become intertwined as the lovable Annie’s story hits the national spotlight.

Incorporating 5 languages (English\, Spanish\, French\, Korean and Hebrew) into their performances\, Hot Peas ‘N Butter uses elements of traditional Latin music\, Afro-Caribbean rhythms\, jazz\, folk\, and rock\, bringing fans to their feet. With hit videos like “Number 1” and “Deep Down” being featured on Nickelodeon and Noggin\, Hot Peas ‘N Butter are quickly becoming a family favorite! Released in 1972 – just six years after the group formed in Southern California – Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s Will the Circle Be Unbroken still stands as one of the most beloved albums in the country catalog\, pairing the young band with legends like Roy Acuff\, Doc Watson\, Earl Scruggs\, and Mother Maybelle Carter. \n \nMany decades have passed since that milestone album’s release\, with the members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band now enjoying their own legendary status. They continue to blur lines between genres\, however\, and Circlin’ Back accomplishes something very similar to the classic Will the Circle Be Unbroken\, pairing the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with the hit-makers\, rule-breakers\, and iconic figures of today’s roots music community.
