And feel the spine-tingling anticipation as you stand on the stage and imagine a thousand people watching in the audience and the sound of their applause. \nLearn about the history of the building\, its notable owners\, and see parts of the theatre that are rarely accessible to the general public. \nBring a camera and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll be climbing stairs to the projection booth at the top of the house and descending below the stage on this tour. \nWith this month’s First Friday theme of “Bring Forth A Pioneer\,” we’ll be joined by the Marietta College Admissions staff in our lobby!

Join Hidden Marietta at the historic Peoples Bank Theatre for a six hour investigation of the paranormal. \nThe historic Peoples Bank Theatre\, previously known as The Colony\, has been a notorious location for haunts for years. As recently as this past June\, the deceased former manager of the theatre\, Mr. Shea\, was spotted prowling the auditorium and spying on the rehearsals. \nDoors slamming\, phantom footsteps\, cold breezes and unearthly laughter resonate in a building that is almost 100 years old. Learn the legend of a murder victim that stalks the basement. Will you hear his whispers for vengeance? \nBring your audio and video equipment. The building will be yours for this special evening. This is not a fun-house.
