Headlining many of the major rock festivals annually in Europe as well as an extensive touring commitment around the World\, their massive and loyal fan base continues to grow and the band don’t look as though they are slowing down at any point soon. Audiences are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and enjoy the music in a relaxed\, open-air setting. Each show begins at 6:00 p.m.\, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot and soak in the festive atmosphere! \n  \nAngela Perley makes music for roadtrips across the American heartland. Rooted in cosmic alt-country\, roadhouse rock & roll\, witchy-woman psychedelia\, and amplified Americana\, it’s a vintage sound for the modern world\, glued together by a singer/songwriter who’s played everything from dive bars to arenas. \nWith Turn Me Loose\, she leans into the rootsy textures that have always underscored her music. Laced with pedal steel\, Telecaster twang\, and Gibson grit\, the album embraces the grey areas between genre and generation\, with Perley breathing new life into her 1960s and ’70s influences. Recorded in her native Ohio\, Turn Me Loose finds Perley building a dreamy world of her own\, writing sharply-detailed songs filled with small towns\, big cities\, and foggy nights pierced by her car’s high-beams. \n“Plug me in\, turn me loose\,” she sings during the album’s opening track\, which unfolds like a mission statement from a road warrior who’s hungry to hit the highway again. Turn Me Loose hits cruising speed with “Star Dreamer\,” whose chorus of sha la la la‘s nods to the kaleidoscopic swoon of the British Invasion\, then reaches a gallop with “Ripple\,” a country-western track that trades Perley‘s midwestern roots for southern stomp. “Here For You” is a personal pep talk — a love song to oneself\, peppered with greasy\, Rolling Stones-worthy guitar — while “Praying For Daylight” and “Wreck Me” conjure up images of Texas dancehalls at closing time\, when the dust from the floorboards turn slow circles in the stage lights. Many veteran bands trade on nostalgia\, on replication of past glories\, and on recycled emotions from younger\, more carefree days. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band trades on a mix of reimagined classics and compelling newer works. The group formed in 1966 as a Long Beach\, California jug band\, scored its first charting single in 1967\, and embarked on a selfpropelled ride through folk\, country\, rock ‘n’ roll\, pop\, blue- grass\, and the amalgam now known as “Americana.” \nThe first major hit came in 1971 with the epic “Mr. Bojangles\,” which\, along with insistent support from banjo master Earl Scruggs\, opened doors in Nashville. Behind those doors were Earl Scruggs\, Roy Acuff\, Doc Watson\, Mother Maybelle Carter\, Jimmy Martin\, and others who would collaborate on a multi-artist\, multi-generational\, three-disc 1972 masterpiece: Will the Circle Be Unbroken went triple Platinum\, spawned two later volumes\, and wound up in the Grammy Hall of Fame. \nWas this a cutting-edge combo or a group of revivalists? Was the goal rebellion or musical piety? Yes\, to all these things. In the 1980s\, the Dirt Band reeled off 15 straight Top 10 country hits\, including chart-toppers “Long Hard Road (The Sharecropper’s Dream)\,” “Modern Day Romance\,” and “Fishin’ in the Dark” (co-written by Jim Photoglo\, who would join the band in the second decade of the new century). \n1989 brought a second Circle album\, this one featuring singer-songwriter talents including John Prine\, Rosanne Cash\, and John Hiatt and garnering two Grammy awards for the band (it later won another\, for a collaboration with Earl Scruggs and other fine folks). Circle II also won the Country Music Association’s Album of the Year prize. Circle III was released in 2003\, featuring collaborations with Johnny Cash\, Dwight Yoakam\, Emmylou Harris\, Taj Mahal\, and more. \nThroughout the group’s lifetime\, personnel has changed\, with each change resulting in positive steps forward\, new ways of playing the old songs\, and renewed enthusiasm for writing and recording fresh material. The latest Dirt Band lineup is expanded to six members for the first time since 1968. Today’s group consists of founding member Jeff Hanna\, harp master Jimmie Fadden (who joined in 1966)\, and soulful-voiced Bob Carpenter\, who has more than 40 years of service in the ensemble. Those veterans are now joined by singer-songwriter-bass man Jim Photoglo\, fiddle and mandolin wizard Ross Holmes\, and Hanna’s son\, the preternaturally talented singer and guitarist Jaime Hanna. \nBlood harmony\, thrilling instrumental flights\, undeniable stage chemistry…these things are part of each Dirt Band show\, just as they are part of Dirt Does Dylan\, the first recording from the reconfigured\, six-strong group released in 2022. Produced by Ray Kennedy and Jeff Hanna\, it’s a remarkable ride through some of the most impactful songs of the past century\, penned by Bob Dylan and taken for a blue highway spin by a great American band\, with help from genius-level contemporary artists like Jason Isbell and The War and Treaty. A Dirt Band show is unlike any other. Recognized as an authority on the music of Franz Liszt\, her 2 DVD set\, Franz Liszt: Portrait of the Man & his Masterwork- The Sonata in B minor with Michael York as the voice of Liszt and a stellar cast of his contemporaries has recently been released. Her recordings of Prokofiev\, Bartók\, and Ginastera are considered “definitive\,” and she has garnered praise for her series of recordings of nineteenth-century composers: Beethoven\, Chopin\, Liszt\, Schumann\, Brahms\, and also Rachmaninoff. All these recordings are now available on Nissman’s new label\, Three Oranges Recordings. \nNissman’s international career was personally launched by Eugene Ormandy\, who had previously engaged her as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has performed with the leading orchestras of Europe and America. She has also worked with some of the major conductors of our time\, including Ormandy\, Riccardo Muti\, Stanislaw Skrowaczewski\, and Leonard Slatkin. Nissman was inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame’s class of 2023. \nThe series\, funded by the Frederica G. It’s a song about the times when the parts of ourselves that we\ntry to keep hidden rise to the surface and we have no choice but to ride the wave. Sometimes that means doing\nyour own thing to figure it out so you can emerge stronger on the other side. It’s not about the end of a relationship\,\nbut rather a moment of self reflection and a promise to keep showing up even when things get tough. Once Daniel\nplayed the opening riff on piano I knew it had to open the album. I’m always seeking to push myself into new sonic\nterritory\, and this song gave me permission to not hold back.\nThe seventh album from Sarah Jarosz finds the highly decorated songwriter at the apex of change. A Texas native\,\nshe’s spent most of her adult life living in New York City\, but shortly before writing the album Jarosz left her adopted\nhome to join her soon-to-be husband in Nashville\, TN. The geographic shake-up led to a sonic one as well for\nPolaroid Lovers. For the first time in her career she opened herself up to collaborators\, leading to writing sessions\nwith Daniel Tashian\, Ruston Kelly and Natalie Hemby. The creative reorganization of her writing process evolved to\ninclude a much richer and more electric sound in the studio and being in Nashville meant access to a world of hot\nshot players. She tapped guitarist Rob McNelley (Miranda Lambert\, Carrie Underwood)\, Tom Bukovac (Tom Petty\,\nVince Gill) on guitar and organ\, her husband- bassist Jeff Picker (Nickel Creek)\, and drummer Fred Eltringham (Sheryl\nCrow\, Lucinda Williams) for the album recording. Tashian took the helm as producer and the whole album was laid\ndown at the legendary Sound Emporium.\nAs it goes with all change\, Jarosz’s major life events had her feeling contemplative. While sitting on the precipice of\nadulthood\, Polaroid Lovers finds her reflecting on past loves\, childhood dreams\, the places she lived in and all the\nversions of herself that she’s been. Although the listener experiences the sonic shift forward\, the album’s subject\nmatter is a photo album of the past. Jarosz has never sounded more assured. Polaroid Lovers is filled with the kind\nof confidence that comes from hard won life experiences and the conviction of someone who truly knows herself.\nSarah Jarosz released her debut album at the age of 18 and was immediately nominated for her first GRAMMY.\nRaised in Texas\, she began playing mandolin at age 10 and soon after guitar and banjo. To date\, she has released six\nstudio albums\, has netted ten GRAMMY Nominations and four wins. In 2018\, she joined Sara Watkins of Nickel\nCreek and Aoife O’Donovan to form the supergroup\, I’m With Her. The group released their debut album See You\nAround\, and won duo/group of the year at the Americana Awards. But now that I’m more confident in my\nmusical identity\, I know I can collaborate but still stay true to my own voice.” In one of her first co-writing sessions\nfor Polaroid Lovers\, Jarosz joined forces with Daniel Tashian (a songwriter/musician/producer known for his multi-\naward-winning work on Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour) and immediately felt an undeniable creative connection.\n“Daniel and I were both so excited by the idea of creating a new sound together\, and he pushed me in ways I felt\ncompletely ready for and open to\,” she says. “It felt really good to allow myself that freedom\, and to take that leap\ninto something new.”\nProduced by Tashian at the legendary Sound Emporium\, Polaroid Lovers took shape as Jarosz recorded live with\nmusicians like guitarist Rob McNelley (Miranda Lambert\, Carrie Underwood)\, Tom Bukovac (Tom Petty\, Vince Gill)\non guitar and organ\, her husband bassist Jeff Picker (Nickel Creek)\, and drummer Fred Eltringham (Sheryl Crow\,\nLucinda Williams)\, carving out a viscerally potent but resplendent brand of folk-rock. Along with layering in such\ndelicately crafted details as otherworldly textures and luminous synth tones\, Jarosz and Tashian forged the album’s\nsingular sound by foregrounding her spirited performance on octave mandolin. “Out of everything I play\, the octave\nmandolin is definitely my soulmate\,” says Jarosz\, who first took up mandolin at age nine\, quickly gained major\nacclaim in the bluegrass world\, and also plays guitar and banjo throughout Polaroid Lovers. “I started playing it when\nI was 16\, and that’s when I started writing songs that truly felt like me — there’s something about the tonality that\nreally lets my voice shine through.”\nWith her co-writers on Polaroid Lovers also including artists like Ruston Kelly\, Natalie Hemby\, and Sarah Buxton as\nwell as heavy-hitters like Jon Randall (Miranda Lambert\, Emmylou Harris) and Gordie Sampson (Willie Nelson\, Trisha\nYearwood)\, Jarosz opens the album on “Jealous Moon”: a gloriously soaring and exquisitely nuanced track that\ninstantly sweeps the listener up in its bristling emotionality. “That song is about the parts of ourselves that we try to\nkeep hidden\, and the moments when they rise to the surface and we just have to ride the wave\,” says Jarosz\, who\nco-wrote “Jealous Moon” with Tashian on a trip to his family’s summer house in Monteagle\, Tennessee. “Daniel and\nI call it our little Monteagle song that could — it started off with me playing ukulele and him playing nylon-string\nguitar on the porch\, then blossomed into this very powerful song that knocked me off my feet.”\nNext\, on “When the Lights Go Out\,” Jarosz shares the sweetly lilting reverie that gave the album its title (from the\nfirst verse: “In a dream we were Polaroid lovers/In the deep where the edges don’t lie”). “I wrote that song with Jon\nRandall and Gordie Sampson\, who suggested we try something in a 6/8 time signature — which is such a simple\nidea\, but took us in a direction I might never have gone otherwise\,” she says. “To me the lyrics are a way of asking\nsomeone you’re intrigued by\, ‘Who are you when all the shine and attention isn’t on you anymore? Who are you\nreally?'” Another track co-written with Randall\, “Runaway Train” kicks the album into high gear as Jarosz serves up a\nbright and soulful love song built on a wildly sing-along-ready chorus (“You’ve got a heart like a runaway\ntrain/Screaming down the mountainside/Burning like a fever that you can’t contain/Humming like the 405”).\n“Coming out of the pandemic and playing shows again\, I realized that a lot of the more uptempo songs in my set\nwere covers\,” she says. “I wanted to write a love song that would give people that joyful feeling\, and Jon and I had\nso much fun playing with all those images of California and Colorado and Texas Hill Country\, which is where I grew\nup.”\nOne of the most poignant moments on Polaroid Lovers\, “Columbus & 89th” drifts into a dreamlike beauty as Jarosz\nreflects on the ineffable heartache of leaving her longtime home of New York City back in 2020. “New York signified\nthis childhood dream that I’d had for so long\, so moving to Nashville was like turning the page from youth to\nadulthood\,” she says. “‘Columbus & 89th’ ended up just pouring out of me once Daniel and I started working on it —\nthere was so much nostalgia and melancholy that I needed to process\, and now I still tear up whenever I hear it. As a\nsongwriter my main goal is to tell the truth about my experience\, and I think the fact that that song makes me so\nemotional means that I was tapping into real feeling.” Written on the same trip that yielded “Columbus & 89th” (a\njourney to Alabama’s Orange Beach with Tashian’s family)\, “Days Can Turn Around” unfolds as a gently swaying folk\nsong threaded with warmly delivered instruction for living well no matter what the circumstances (e.g.\, “Never turn\ndown cold champagne/Don’t change your plans for a little rain”). “Both of those songs have similar themes of\nthinking back and looking forward\, but trying your best to be in the moment\,” says Jarosz. “With ‘Days Can Turn\nAround\,’ I wanted to talk about all those little gems of wisdom you hear from you parents that end up taking on a\nwhole new meaning when you finally become an adult.”\nAs Jarosz reveals\, her very first co-writing session with Tashian helped draw out the deep-rooted confidence that\ninformed all of the album’s creation. “That first day Daniel and I worked together we wrote a song called ‘Take the\nHigh Road\,’ which is about taking the time to really know yourself and get comfortable in your own skin\, even if it\nmight take a little longer to get to where you want to be\,” she says. “There was something so beautiful about that\nbeing the first song we wrote for this album — it gave me the push I needed to not be afraid\, to move beyond the\nboundaries and explore new sounds.” A widely beloved musician whose past efforts include teaming up with fellow\nsinger/songwriters Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan to form the Grammy Award-winning trio I’m With Her — as\nwell as appearing on albums by iconic artists like David Crosby and Amy Ray of Indigo Girls — Jarosz derived a\nparticularly profound sense of purpose from the highly collaborative process behind Polaroid Lovers. “Maybe more\nthan any record I’ve ever made\, I felt so present and hyper-emotional with this album because I believed in it so\nmuch\,” she says. “It was so joyful to work with all these writers and musicians\, and I think that joy really comes\nthrough.”\nLooking back on the making of Polaroid Lovers\, Jarosz notes that shaking up her process ultimately left her eager to\nfurther expand her creative horizons. “It was a big step for me to reach out to Daniel\, but in the end it showed me\nhow important it is to keep taking thoughtful chances\,” she says. “This whole album reminded me that I never want\nto play it safe — if anything\, I want there to always be that element of being a little scared\, because that means I’m\ntaking a risk. In a way that’s what’s so wonderful about art: if you’re lucky\, you never reach the finish line. You just\nkeep searching and chiseling away at the stone\, and putting everything you can into making something that tells the\ntruth but hopefully leaves space for others to find meaning too.” \n  \nThe Ballroom Thieves \nEarly in 2020\, an article was released declaring that the music industry needed more happy songs. As Martin\nEarley and Calin Peters recall\, they laughed while reading it\, knowing that their work as The Ballroom Thieves\nexplores the spirit of that paradigm. Well\, sort of…they’re not interested in easily defined worldviews.\n“We read that article and thought\, ‘how are we supposed to write happy songs right now?'” says Earley. “We\ndon’t write happy songs\, but this time we decided to try something new by pairing optimistic sounding music with\ndark lyrics. If the listener is not a lyrics person\, they might not notice.”\nThe Ballroom Thieves’ fourth album\, Clouds\, is a song cycle born of mixed experiences and fueled by the power\nof imagination. The album is a lush meditation on longing to return to touring – to see different sunsets and cities.\nBut\, it’s also a reflection of its difficulties\, e.g.\, insomnia brought on by sleeping in different hotel rooms every\nnight. After a major car accident and the departure of a band member\, the duo has taken the duality of all these\nexperiences and translated them into song.\n“We miss exploring the country\,” says Peters. “The road offers us structure and it gives us something to write\nabout. These past two years we learned just how much we love and need it.”\nAs they leaned into their wanderlust\, themes became apparent – the idea of a life spent in motion (“Shine”)\, the\npower of the storm representing a relationship transformed into heartbreak (“The Lightning”)\, Man’s ceaseless\ndegradation of resources and Nature’s inevitable fury (“Worldender”)\, and Harry Styles (“Harry Styles”)\, who\nshould be considered a force of Nature as far as Peters and Earley are concerned. “We were sitting around our\nwoodstove\, and Callie looked over at me and said\, ‘I think I’m in love with Harry Styles\,'” Earley recalls. “And my\nfirst thought was\, ‘wait a minute\, I love Harry Styles! You can’t have him!’”\nClouds became an opportunity for the band to mine the challenges of the past three years for creative inspiration.\n“We were able to step away from a lot of the big three-part harmonies and for the first time we recorded most of\nthe album live\,” says Earley. “We try to let change inspire us\, even when it comes with difficulty.”\nIt’s an artistic statement that doubles as a life mission. The pair both emphasize that they’ve learned to navigate\ncomplicated situations\, including their struggles with depression\, which often colors their songs. If they can impart\nanything to listeners\, it’s that talking about mental health is not a weakness—and that sharing any of life’s trials\ncan be a source of strength.\n“There’s so much material out there on fighting mental illnesses and keeping our heads up but I think it’s also\njust important to know that it’s okay to be affected. Movie stars. Washed out rodeo cowboys. Songwriters. Fashion designers. Guitar pickers. Real people. Late-night denizens. Superbowl Half-Time shows. Studio 54. Honky Tonks. Sedona. The Opry. Austin. Music City. New York City. Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall. Awards in the ‘70s\, ‘90s\, and ‘20s\, #1 records in every decade but the 2010s. \nOnly Tanya Tucker can claim a resume like that: one long on living\, not judging\, creating\, not looking back. When 2019’s acclaimed While I’m Livin’ won the GRAMMY for Best Country Album\, and its poignant single “Bring My Flowers Now\,” not only won Best Country Song but was also nominated in the all-genre Song of the Year category\, it was a powerful statement about authenticity\, about staying power and about greatness. But that doesn’t always make the follow-up any easier. \nTanya Tucker has seen\, done and been places most people can’t imagine\, and she’s done it at a pace that would kill mere mortals. A child thrust into stardom with a series of precocious hits\, the iconic “Delta Dawn\,” “Would You Lay With Me\,” and “Blood Red & Goin’ Down\,” among them\, she then released a pair of wild and brash rock records at 18\, then returned to country music in her 20s to ultimately take the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Award in 1991. Along the way\, she’s been a cutting horse champion\, played dives\, arenas\, stadiums\, and the Houston Rodeo\, created headlines\, and wrung out the absolute last drop out of every moment. \nAnd that approach to living is what makes her new album\, Sweet Western Sound (Fantasy) such a tour du force. Building on her collaboration with Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings (who co-produced Livin’)\, they dug deeper into the caverns and canyons of Tanya’s life. This time the music is bigger and more immediate\, the reckonings more profound; but as always\, the heart is strong\, honest\, and willing to tell the truth about it all. \n“Kristofferson\, Jessi Colter\, they know I’m a good person and have a good heart\,” she explains. “I didn’t really know them coming up\, though I was close to Waylon. It takes a few years maybe to get through the reputation\, you know? Was it that bad? I don’t know…” She pauses\, then adds with a chuckle\, “But I tell ’em all\, my bad reputation has made me a damn good living. So\, don’t screw that up for me now!” \nOnly Tanya Tucker could inspire the revered late outlaw songwriter Billy Joe Shaver to leave a tribute song on her voicemail. And only the copper-haired icon would think to keep Shaver’s legacy alive by bookending Sweet Western Sound’s journey through the emotional plains of her life with his acapella homages celebrating her essence. \nThough known as a wildcat vocalist\, in truth\, the Outlaw Myth has always been more attitude than lifestyle. It sprang out of Willie and Waylon’s unique brand of country\, one where the spirit is free\, the songs and performances melt stylistic rules and laughter abounds. \nIndeed\, Tanya’s career\, and its renaissance comes from a willingness to expose those deeper places\, to write her own story and draw on writers who have come to know her intimately. It’s there in the existentialist drifter’s postcard\, “Breakfast In Birmingham\,” a duet with Carlile\, which the 9-time GRAMMY winner wrote with Bernie Taupin. It’s also there in\, “Ready As I’ll Never Be\,” another slice of irresistible hard-spun wisdom Tanya co-wrote with Carlile. Carlile’s longtime collaborators\, Tim\, and Phil Hanseroth\, contributed “Kindness\,” a tender and empathetic acknowledgment of the understanding one only comes to through hard patches\, tough fates\, and busted dreams. \n“For me\, songwriting’s a release\,” explains the woman nominated for her first GRAMMY at 14. I finally finished “Bring My Flowers Now\,” 30\, 40 years down the road. My problem is I spit it out\, and I can’t retain it. I always tell people\, ‘If it comes out\, you better get it ‘cause I won’t remember it later.’ Brandi understands that\, puts in a few other lines\, and remembers things I’ve told her.” \n“I’m a Sunday writer\,” Tucker continues. “I’m gonna come over and eat some cornbread with ya\, laugh\, talk a bit and maybe we’ll write a song. If we talk about it\, set a time\, it’s too serious. The whole idea of ‘Get together at 10 o’clock in the morning\,’ where’s the inspiration in that?” \nInspiration for Tucker\, Carlile\, Jennings\, and the assembled musicians was everything. Though sessions were delayed by the increased demand for all three\, when they finally reconvened in the studio\, their passion was on full display. “I just go in and try to do the best vocal possible\,” she adds. “I put all the feeling I can into the songs. My Dad taught me from the youngest age\, that’s what you need to do.” \nYou can hear it in the soulful\, “City of Gold\,” the gorgeous gospel tune written by JT Nero of Birds of Chicago. It’s imbued in the Carlile/Hanseroth/Hanseroth confessional\, life-measuring “That Wasn’t Me\,” then it washes over Shooter Jennings’ stately piano in his “Waltz Across A Moment\,” which delivers the album’s title in a bouquet of life’s experiences. \n“Come and meet me in the shadows of this drunk and broken sound\,” she intones on the track\, voice all hickory smoke\, candle glow\, and Spanish leather\, “Don’t curse your mind with yesterday\, or the love we could have found/ Just waltz across the moment to that… sweet… Western sound.” In a moment\, all that she is\, delivered. A blessing\, a benediction\, an embrace\, a reason to believe when all’s gone wrong. To know how to hope in the face of darkness is the mark of true wisdom. For a woman still too young for Social Security\, it was earned by persevering\, by living. \n“Letter To Linda\,” was taken from an actual letter Tanya penned a few years ago on the news of her hero’s health struggles. “I walked into the Troubadour and heard (her version of) ‘Desperado\,’ and it all came rushing back\,” Tanya marveled. “I remember the first time I heard Heart Like A Wheel with that righteous combination of country\, pop\, and rock. It was everything I wanted to do… I only met her once\, but I wanted her to know how I felt.” \nPowered by a deep well of self-awareness\, “The List\,” a romping kiss-off Tucker/Carlile composition\, is another example of the fire that burns within. With her singular sardonic ‘get in line buddy’ tone\, Tanya impales the pettiness of those who think their judgments can hurt more than her own do. “My old friends have heard me say that for years\,” Tucker says. “I always know where it comes from\, who instigated it\, and whatever else. But I’ve always said I don’t care\, because I know my list\, my self-reckoning is going to be longer and harsher than theirs.” \nStay open\, cause sometimes life and art collide in unforeseen ways. “When The Rodeo Is Over (Where Does The Cowboy Go?)\,” is an elegy for a way of life\, but not a man willing to stop living. Against the vistas of Sedona\, the old rodeo rider lives out his days smoking cigarettes “he can’t afford” and picking turquoise\, an allegory perhaps for so many compadres the audacious artist has come to know. “I was in LA\, the night before the first session started. Brandi sent me a song\, saying ‘If you like it\, we’ll start with it…’\,” Tucker recalls. “I gave it to Craig (Dillingham\, Tanya’s boyfriend) to listen to. He comes back in a minute\, and I asked him\, ‘Did you like it?’ and he says\, ‘Like it? Hell\, I wrote it!’ He’d never pitched it to me\, but Brandi did. It’s one of those songs that just stays with you.” \nStaying with you is the essence of how Tanya Tucker endures. You hear that whiskey voice\, which cuts straight to your most vulnerable places\, and you’ll never forget. She’s lived life on her terms\, her way\, and that speaks volumes for a gypsy soul just looking to sing her songs and let the chips fall where they may. “I’m not a cowboy giddy-up\, kind of western movie\, like Slim Whitman\,” she says of her cinematic journey. “But those kids\, those 70’s west coasters in their funky hats and cowboy boots\, and jeans? DESCRIPTION:Annual Christmas Tree Auction & Gala\nJoin us for our 2023 Christmas tree auction to benefit the Hippodrome/Colony Historical Theatre Association on Friday\, December 1st starting at 6:00. This event helps support the HCHTA’s preservation of our historic theatre and its continued mission to bring the performing arts and interactive arts education experiences to our community. Decorated trees and wreaths will be on display Monday\, November 20 through Friday\, December 1 at Peoples Bank Theatre and The Stage Door. \nSpecial thanks to Ullman Auctions and Appraisals. \n  \nDecorating Guidelines\n• Trees should be no larger than 8’ in height. \n• Decorated items should be appropriate for public display \n• Please attach all decorations safely and securely \n• Items will be moved several times throughout the process. Please make sure any and all decorations \nare installed to travel. \n• Items should be designed to travel through a 36”w x 80”h opening \n• NO live trees or wreaths. \n• Passiflora Studio is available for consultations and decorating services (740-350-4905). \n  \nIf interested in contributing an item\, please email Miranda Duty\, Theatre General Manager\, at miranda@peoplesbanktheatre.com by November 9th and please drop off your item by Friday\, November 17th. \n  \nAUCTION & GALA SCHEDULE\n\n6:00-Doors open\n6:30 pm – Auction preview & refreshments\n7:30 pm – Auction\n8:30-Music and reception\n\n  \nEnjoy all of our upcoming performances on our new Byrider Stage!

SUMMARY:November Song Colony Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Song Colony with Todd Burge takes place inside The Stage Door at 224 Putnam Street in Marietta. \nThe mission of these monthly workshops is to encourage creation and collaboration. We aim to sustain\, expand\, and encourage songwriting talent and performance in the Mid-Ohio Valley. You do not have to be musically inclined to participate in this group. \nAdmission is free\, with no tickets needed to attend. Due to limited space\, attendees must register in advance by emailing toddburgemusic@gmail.com. \nActivities and topics covered often include: \n\nSongwriting (how to get started\, how to eliminate blocks\, etc.)\nDeveloping mentoring (pairing seasoned songwriters with up-and-comers)\nHow to write for others\nHow to write for yourself\nSong review sessions (writers will bring in songs for positive review)\nPerformance technique discussions\nCo-writing songs as a group\n\nThis project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. SUMMARY:Chris Isaak: It's Almost Christmas Tour
DESCRIPTION:Over the course of his forty-year career\, Platinum-selling and GRAMMY-nominated singer & actor Chris Isaak has performed to sold-out crowds across the globe with his longtime band Silvertone. His music and film credits include thirteen critically acclaimed studio albums\, twelve chart-topping singles along with several motion pictures\, such as The Silence of the Lambs and That Thing You Do!. His work has also taken him behind the scenes\, creating music for multiple film soundtracks\, including Eyes Wide Shut\, True Romance\, Wild at Heart\, and Blue Velvet. Isaak has starred in his own critically acclaimed television series The Chris Isaak Show on SHOWTIME\, has previously served as a judge on The X Factor Australia\, and hosted the music talk show\, The Chris Isaak Hour on BIO. 2019 marked the 30th Anniversary of Isaak’s beloved Heart-Shaped World album\, which includes his breakthrough classic “Wicked Game”.
