River Cities combines highly skilled musicianship, under Maestro Robert Turizziani’s rousing direction, with a program that appeals to all ages and levels of musical experience.

Maestro Turizziani has stirred up a great program of holiday-themed music, starting with The Noon Witch, Op. 108, by Antonin Dvorak, and including the Danse Macabre, by Camille Saint-Saëns, Symphony No. 8 (Unfinished) by Franz Schubert, and Violin Concerto No. 1 by Max Bruch. The RCSO will also feature the talents of Christina Bouey as violin soloist.

The River Cities Symphony Orchestra Fall performance captures the lush pastoral moods of Brahms Symphony No. 2, along with Sibelius’s “Finlandia, and Randall Woolf’s “Angel of the Odd”, a flute concerto starring renowned soloist Lindsey Goodman.

The River Cities Symphony Orchestra strides into 2018 with a rousing Shostakovich Cello Concerto (No. 1), featuring returning soloist Steven Doane. The excitement continues, with J.S. Bach’s Baroque masterpiece Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, and Haydn’s final symphony, No. 104.

Gershwin's “rhapsodic ballet” captures the energy and jazz-tinged landscape of 1920s Paris. The River Cities Symphony Orchestra combines this piece with his immortal “Rhapsody in Blue”, and many other popular works, for a night of surprises and excitement.
