August First Friday Outdoor Concert: Johnny Staats

This free, DORA-friendly event will be held on Putnam Street in front of Peoples Bank Theatre. No tickets are necessary to attend. Lawn chairs are welcome!

We regret to share that due to unforeseen circumstances, Jake Eddy, previously announced as our August First Friday artist, will no longer be able to perform.

However, we’re thrilled to announce that Johnny Staats, nationally known mandolin virtuoso and West Virginia treasure, will be stepping in for a very special performance. Staats is renowned for his lightning-fast picking, heartfelt songwriting, and appearances on CNN, NBC’s Today Show, NPR, and the Grand Ole Opry.

We’re incredibly grateful to Johnny for joining us on short notice—this promises to be an unforgettable evening of music!
