30th Anniversary Movie Screening!

Join us for a special 30th anniversary showing of BEETLEJUICE! What could be better than watching classic Tim Burton on the big screen in October? Miss Argentina 1939 will even be on hand to check you in and make sure you have your Handbook for the Recently Deceased.

BEETLEJUICE is the timeless tale of… a ghostly couple and the troublesome “bio-exorcist” they employ to help scare away the living. It’s mega-watt Michael Keaton at his kookiest, Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis at their dreamiest, and vintage Tim Burton from start to finish.

Tim Burton had made a name for himself with PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE, but he really captured everyone’s attention with the surprise smash BEETLEJUICE in 1988. The movie was so weird Warner Bros. was almost afraid to spring it on an unsuspecting public. But when they did, audiences went wild for it.

The film also gave substantial boosts to the careers of Alec Baldwin (so young!), Geena Davis, teenage idol Winona Ryder and, of course, Michael Keaton, playing the utterly unpredictable title character. After perishing in a car accident, Barbara (Davis) and Adam (Baldwin) find themselves stuck in their country home, unable to leave as it is invaded by the insufferable Deetze family. When Barbara and Adam are unable to frighten the Deetzes away, they call on the notorious Beetlejuice (Keaton) for help. It’s a decision they live (?) to regret.
