As a forerunner of the Midwest “garage soul” movement, Jared Mahone has patiently turned hometown open mic night glory into a humble career as a nationally touring, independent musician. His raw, acoustic songs and stories are inspired by an amalgamation of Jared’s upbringing in 90’s soul, R&B, and Hip Hop and his passion for grinding out real music with talented friends. Despite regional recognition as the 2013 Verizon Indie Icon, his musical guest appearance on Katie Couric’s ABC daytime talk show, or being named Best Male Artist in the 2014 International Acoustic Music Awards, Jared dismisses fame chasing. He favors a troubadour-style trudge across the country meeting his crowd one handshake at a time.

The Stage Door is the new lounge and hangout space for Peoples Bank Theatre guests! Located at 224 Putnam Street, just two doors down from the main lobby, The Stage Door also serves as the weekday Box Office and gift shop for Peoples Bank Theatre.
