- This event has passed.
What is being done to help those who are suffering from addiction, or from the loss of someone taken too early?
TheNewsCenter, in conjunction with a group calling itself “Mid-Ohio Valley Learning About Addiction” and The Peoples Bank Theatre in Marietta, will host a live one-hour televised forum on the heroin problem on Friday, April 8, 2016.
It will feature folks who work with addicts, law enforcement, and those impacted directly by heroin.
Ohio’s U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown is also scheduled to take part.
The event will be free and open to the public.
NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 WILL BE PERMITTED.
Cameras will be capable of showing the faces of the people in the audience, so you might appear in the telecast!
It will also be televised live on WTAP’s sister station, WIYE- CBS 47, and it will be streamed live on TheNewsCenter.tv
