Join us for The Best Of The Flagship Festival!
From the 5PT Adventure Film Festival:
We believe that communities are made better when their people pursue adventure and intentionally live their own best stories. That’s why 5Point travels year-round with a selection of the best films from the annual Carbondale festival. Shows are hosted by a variety of organizations, corporations, non-profits, and venues. The intention is to hand our best 5Point films over to these organizations and empower them to host their own show and help bring their community together over an evening of impactful and fun adventure films.
We believe the power of film is magnified when a group experiences meaningful stories together. We laugh, cry, cheer, learn, and explore the world together – and that’s the power of a 5Point show.
This event features a 91-minute reel of curated 5Point films. It’s full of inspiration, adrenaline, emotion, and classic 5Point stories.

CREATION THEORY
What is the source of creation? Whether it’s the grandest cosmos or the smallest human idea, true creation arrives in moments of unexpected convergence— extraordinary synchronicities between space and time, science and art, music and mountains and sea. In Creation Theory, these raw elements converge in the Westfjords of Iceland, taking us on a journey from the interstellar birth of gravity and rhythm, to their ultimate human creative expression: surfer on wave, snowboarder on peak, and musician on stage.
FLIP THE SWITCH
If you don’t have role models to look up to, it’s harder to progress as a rider. Georgia Astle grew up chasing her older brother. But when she looked beyond racing, there weren’t a lot of women pushing the limits of freeride. Until all of a sudden, there was.

TO BE FRANK
To Be Frank pivots from social media’s lens and explores authenticity and community in surfing via Frank Paine, a 73-year-old South Bay icon and humble local legend whose life orbits around a two-block stretch of beach. His unforgettable mustache and magnetic spirit are what most notice first, but Frank’s deeper layers expose a depth that might answer some questions that we surfers continually ask ourselves.
MALIK
A chance encounter changes the course of two men, Malik Martin, and Conrad Anker, to where they find a unique kinship and understanding forged in climbing.
AFTER YOU’VE GONE
Rachel Finn grapples with life after loss. Showcasing an inspiring perspective on moving forward through trauma in an unapologetically true-to-herself way that brings a smile to everyone who crosses her path. Oh, and she catches some big F&#@ING fish.
