May First Friday: Of The Dell
- This event has passed.
This free, DORA-friendly event will be held on Putnam Street in front of Peoples Bank Theatre. No tickets are necessary to attend. Lawn chairs are welcome!
Of The Dell arrive, raise hell, and leave. Made up of twin brothers Corey and Cody Hatton, and joined by powerhouse drummer Jeffrey McClelland, the group joins a legacy of small bands with big sounds. With guitar twang that feels like the best power-pop bands turned up their amps and headed into overdrive, the band sounds as if Alex Chilton decided to make a The Who album. On their debut album, As Soon As Possible, Of The Dell covers love, life, and, most importantly, having a good time.
Come for the free music, stay for the Aunt K’s Kitchen and Munchies food trucks PLUS five flavors of Cinco de Mayo margaritas served by The Stage Door. Stick around afterward for the premier of Moon Over Buffalo at 8:00 pm at the Mid-Ohio Valley Players.
