The Peoples Bank Theatre has been a fixture of Marietta and the MOV for 100 years.
And we have big plans for the next 100 years. It’s the next 100 DAYS that are tricky.

We have set a goal of $100,000 for our live streaming campaign to keep the theatre operational in these troubled times.

As part of our PBT community, please consider any size donation to allow us to weather the storm and re-open our doors so we can all enjoy an evening or afternoon at the PBT once again.

Todd Burge

A native of West  Virginia’s Wood County region, Burge spent the ’80s and ’90s earning his place  as one of the most important and enduring figures in  the state’s music scene,  fronting everything from the alt-rock band 63 Eyes to the outlaw-country cover  project Triple Shot. Since the early 2000s,  Burge has concentrated on his  singular brand of folk-pop storytelling with multiple performances on NPR’s Mountain Stage, The Kennedy Center, The Country Music Hall of Fame and more.

“West Virginia’s premier songwriter”
Larry Groce – Host of NPR’s Mountain Stage

“I’m convinced – Ingenious Todd Burge successfully blends more wit and wisdom per song than anyone else I’ve enjoyed in years.”

Ron Goad – Vice Pres – Songwriter’s Association of Washington DC

Jess Baldwin

“Jessica brings that rare combination of a high degree of technical skill and a palpable level of emotion. She knows how to deliver the soul of a song. Simply stated: Pure Beauty.” – John Walsh

“My earliest experiences in the jazz idiom were spent in a vocal jazz setting. Jess still managed to blow all my expectations away. Comfortable in virtually all vocal genres, her skills as musical visionary, band leader, and arranger completed the package.” – Steven Heffner

After earning two degrees in it, Jess Baldwin left the world of classical music and returned to her first loves of soul, jazz, pop, and R&B. Her effortless voice, poetic lyrics, lush harmonies, and playful rhythms weave together into dreamy art pop infused with soul and jazz. Jess has appeared on American Public Television’s Songs at the Center, performed on Mountain Stage with The Fields of Gettysburg, won the Ohio Music Award for Cover Song in 2016 and 2017, and was a quarterfinalist in the American Traditions Competition in 2015 and 2017. Her newest set of songs were born out of a search for the meaning and feeling of home, which is currently Columbus, Ohio. When she’s not performing, Jess helps singers find their own voices in her teaching studio. Learn more at jessbaldwin.com.
