The Peoples Bank Theatre has been a fixture of Marietta and the MOV for 100 years.
And we have big plans for the next 100 years. It’s the next 100 DAYS that are tricky.

We have set a goal of $100,000 for our live streaming campaign to keep the theatre operational in these troubled times.

As part of our PBT community, please consider any size donation to allow us to weather the storm and re-open our doors so we can all enjoy an evening or afternoon at the PBT once again.

This event will give new meaning to “Throw Back Thursday ” when you join us, as we give a People’s Bank salute to the music of Judy Garland on Thursday, July 30th.

Featuring some of her most treasured selections from her songbook, Somewhere, Over The Rainbow, Get Happy, The Trolley Song, and several more, this live-streaming event will not disappoint. Sing along and tap your toes in the comfort of your easy chair.

The songstress, Marietta local, Su Voycik-Meredith, feels humbled at the chance to share  Garland’s songs from the very Hippodrome stage on which Judy appeared during her historic career.

Ms. Voycik-Meredith was last seen on the PBT stage in Guys and Dolls in 2018 and in Cabaret the previous year. Having grown up in Marietta, she has been active at Mid-Ohio Valley Players, Marietta College, Showboat Becky Thatcher, and across the river at the Smoot Theatre, as well as,  the Actor’s Guild of Parkersburg.

She delighted audiences in over 50 productions throughout many years of practice, character study, and memorization. She was a guest artist in YMCA Friends of Youth and Blennerhassett fundraisers and was seen as Margaret Blennerhassett in the Smoot Production of Eden On The River.

Regionally, she toured the Midwest and Florida in the dinner theatre circuit where the stages lowered into the ground.

Internationally, as a member of a Nashville Children’s Theatre troupe, she toured in Really, Rosie, and Prayers From The Ark, from Dundalk, Ireland Theatre Festival to ASSITEJ Children’s Theatre Conference in Madrid, Spain, with a premiere performance at the Kennedy Center.
