Peoples Bank Theatre is proud to announce the appointment of Wendy Brewer as its new Executive Director.
A native of Marietta, Brewer brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement to one of the region’s premier performing arts venues.
Brewer’s extensive background includes serving as the Executive Director of the Marietta/Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Memorial Health Foundation. She most recently held a leadership position at a national consulting firm specializing in strategic development for communities across the country. Throughout her career, she has raised millions of dollars to support meaningful causes and is recognized for her deep commitment to her hometown and the greater Southeast Ohio region.

Brewer steps into the role on July 21st, 2025. This is a particularly exciting time, as the Peoples Bank Theatre prepares to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its grand reopening. The landmark event follows a successful capital campaign and extensive restoration project made possible by the tireless efforts of local supporters, board members, and dedicated staff.
